Departing November 13th
THAILAND • Chiang Mai and beyond • 11/14/2019 - 11/23/2019
Sacred spaces | holy grounds | yoga | meditation | five tastes
Don’t go for just a “taste of Thailand” — enjoy a full and healthy serving of the beauty and magic of northern Thailand on this retreat!
Join Erica and special guests on this unique excursion fusing local charm, culture, and food, plus invigorating yoga in the “land of smiles”, Thailand. Leaving the bustle of Bangkok, we’ll spend a full day in Ayuthaya walking among the ancient temples. These will be our first two ‘tastes’ of Thailand, preparing us for more as we flow to the culture-rich town of Chiang Mai. While in Chiang Mai, surrounded by glittering Buddhist temples, take in your daily yoga practice and then enjoy free reign to blend them into your daily explorations. Each session will invite you to explore one aspect of your practice and spice it up <wink>.
Whether you are on a sacred walk with elephants with local villagers, or learning incredible Thai cooking tips to bring back to your own kitchen, or practicing warming chants with monks to open your mind and relax your soul, or simply finding alignment by the pool receiving a Thai massage — every experience is an opportunity to get reacquainted with who you truly are outside the constraints of your every day patterns. After our deep dive in Chiang Mai, we will journey back to Bangkok, we will pause to enjoy the sunset view from a roof top bar. And depart for next destination in the morning.
Those who wish to add-on to their stay, we will continue a bit further south to settle in for 3 days of crystalline beach time before heading back home just in time for Thanksgiving. Our island hop destination will depend on the number of travelers. We will either head just two and half hours south of Bangkok to Rayong and nestle in on Koh Samet or we will hop even further south toward Krabi and sink into Rai leh (aka Railay). Either way, adventure awaits!

You will be welcomed so completely at our homestay. Nestled in the heart of Chiang Mai, we will be just steps away from trekking with elephants through the jungle, stepping into sacred time in temples, and delving into the art of Thai cooking.
